Quest Editor (Windows)
Download QuestEditor 24 for Windows
Unzip the ZIP file into a temporary setup directory. Run setup.exe from the temporary setup directory and follow the installation instructions.
Note: Any older mQuest version installed must be uninstalled before installing a new mQuest version.
Quest Editor (macOS)
Download QuestEditor 24 for macOS
Unzip the ZIP file into any directory (recommended: Program Files).
Note: Please follow the instructions on this page when starting the program for the first time.
QuestEditor Traffic (Windows)
Download QuestEditor 23 Traffic for Windows
Unzip the ZIP file into a temporary setup directory. Run setup.exe from the temporary setup directory and follow the installation instructions.
Note: This version is specifically designed for use with mQuest Traffic in traffic surveys. Any older mQuest version installed must be uninstalled before installing a new version.

Recommended:
- Apple iOS from iOS version 14.0 or newer
When using multimedia questions:
- Photo/video function (photo/video as an answer to a question): Camera
- Voice recording (audio function): microphone
- Barcode or QR scanner: Good camera with autofocus
(Please test with specific devices and Android versions, as there may be occasional difficulties with recognition.)
Requirements for desktop application QuestEditor
- Processor with 2 cores, 2GHz
- Main memory 2 GB
- At least 1 GB of free hard disk space
- Windows 7 or Windows 10
- Current Internet browser

If you are planning to purchase equipment, we recommend the following procedure
- Brief consultation with cluetec regarding the planned device
- Purchase a device for compatibility testing (test the entire scenario, e.g., different data transfer paths, etc.).
- (You are also welcome to provide this device to us, and we will conduct the compatibility test for you.)
- Check whether the planned device supports all required character sets. The supported character sets depend on the manufacturer, model, and Android version. Please note that a later Android firmware update may not be possible or may be difficult.
