With cluetec Audit, you can conveniently plan your audits via the audit software’s central, web-based portal. To do so , select the object to be audited —such as a process, product, workstation, or location—and the desired audit type. A filter automatically selects relevant questions from the overall checklist.

Set a date or time period and assign the responsible auditor . cluetec Audit automatically informs them about the upcoming audit. For regularly recurring audits, you can set up recurring appointments , which cluetec Audit will automatically create at the desired frequency. Alternatively, you can easily integrate existing planning tools such as SAP or Navision via the integrated API.

The implementation of cluetec Audit takes an average of six to eight weeks —somewhat longer depending on the scope. During this time, we’ll support you step by step until your successful launch.

First, our specialist department will work with you to analyze your existing processes and create a detailed specification of your requirements . Based on this, we will configure the system for the first time.

Yes, with cluetec Audit , you can add photos directly to your checklists . The natively developed app makes it easy to document deviations visually. A particularly practical feature: With the integrated photo tagging, you can record anomalies directly in the captured image—no need for lengthy descriptions.

You use the central web portal for analysis, planning, and action definition in German or English – just like the app. The checklists are designed for multilingual support: Create content in any language – even content with characters or a different reading direction is easily possible.

With cluetec Audit, auditors and all process participants work faster and more efficiently. The platform replaces paper forms, Excel files, and manual result transfer with a digital, centrally controlled process . Audits are scheduled directly within the system, reports are generated automatically, and actions are always visible to the auditor. This saves time in report creation and minimizes sources of error.

The system actively supports action tracking: It automatically creates actions from recorded deviations, assigns them to responsible parties, and sends reminders of deadlines via email – including an escalation function. You can also easily integrate external stakeholders such as suppliers to view or edit actions themselves.

With cluetec Audit’s integrated action management, you keep track of all tasks. The software maps each action derived from a deviation as a task , so employees and those responsible can see at a glance what needs to be done. Those involved can view the current status of each task at any time, check it, and adjust it directly if necessary.

Individually configurable email notifications —such as reminders, escalations, or status changes—keep everyone involved up to date. This ensures that actions no longer get lost in Excel spreadsheets or email traffic.

The first step is to create your checklists for all audit types in cluetec Audit, along with the objects to be audited – if any. This includes processes, products, suppliers, or plants. If a new audit is pending, check whether the object has already been created. Add it if necessary, for example, for a new supplier.

You then schedule the audit, specify the timeframe or date, select the responsible auditor, and define the relevant requirements from the overall checklist. Cluetec Audit automatically notifies the auditor of the upcoming appointment via email.

At the scheduled time, the auditor conducts the audit either offline in the app or online in the browser . After the data transfer, the system automatically creates a preliminary audit report in the portal. You can edit and adjust the report as needed.

Once the report is complete, cluetec Audit automatically generates an action for each identified deviation . The documentation of the cause and remediation is done in the integrated action management system. Additional users can be easily integrated. Finally, the auditor confirms the effectiveness of the actions and concludes the audit.

You can use cluetec Audit in your company without any special requirements . The application is completely web-based . All you need is a current browser and an internet connection. You can easily configure the cluetec Audit App by scanning a QR code . You will receive this from cluetec. The app then automatically synchronizes with your smartphone or tablet and downloads all audits assigned to you. All audits are then available offline, too.

Yes, you can also conduct your audits directly in the browser – without a mobile app . Unlike the app, you need an active internet connection. Some functions, such as the camera, are only available to a limited extent in the browser.

Yes, cluetec Audit offers an integrated role and rights concept . You create individual user accounts and precisely configure who can view, change, or create which data . You decide whether a user has access to all or only selected data. This way, you can map multiple audit types or locations in one system – everyone sees only what is relevant to them.

With cluetec Audit, you can manage and analyze your digital audits and present all relevant data in clear dashboards . Presentation-ready KPIs give you a comprehensive overview of the project status. Do you already use your own dashboards? We can integrate them directly into the portal. Or you can access the audit data with your BI tool and expand your existing dashboards in a targeted manner.

With integrated audit scheduling , you can plan and assign audits conveniently and centrally . As soon as a new audit is due, cluetec Audit automatically notifies the responsible auditors via email and —if enabled— via push notification .

With cluetec Audit , you create your own checklists and structure them according to your requirements . Various elements are available for this purpose. Structure your checklist into chapters for clarity and add checkpoints to capture specific information. You can differentiate between pure information and assessment-relevant inputs:

Information without influence on the rating:

  • Text entries, e.g., to record participants or to document strengths and weaknesses
  • Date entries
  • Single or multiple answers to select predefined options


Information with rating:

  • Assessment questions with numerical scales, e.g. 10/8/6/4/0 scale according to VDA or ISO criteria such as major or minor deviation, potential for improvement, positive aspects and conformity
  • Measured values such as temperature or pressure, which cluetec Audit automatically evaluates as too high or too low or classifies as OK based on defined limit values

Depending on the checkpoint type, rating (positive/negative) and configuration, you can enter additional information if required:

  • Notes or comments in the free text field
  • Photos for visual documentation
  • Findings: If there are several findings, enter a text and corresponding photos for each one – the rating applies to all findings

With this flexible structure, you can optimally adapt your checklists to your audit requirements – without any programming knowledge.

With cluetec Audit, you create your own checklists. You specify how you want to evaluate specific requirements in your checklist . In the integrated checklist editor, you define the appropriate evaluation type for each checkpoint – standardized or customized to your processes.

Various types of evaluation are available to you:

  • Numerical scales: Use predefined scales such as the 10/8/6/4/0 scale according to VDA or typical ISO categories such as major or minor deviations, potential for improvement, positive aspects, or conformity. Even simple distinctions such as “OK” / “NOT OK” are selectable. If necessary, you can configure your own rating scales with just a few clicks.
  • Measured values: Record actual values such as temperature or pressure and let cluetec Audit automatically assess whether they are within the limits or whether there are deviations.
  • Text-based assessments: Formulate your own assessment texts for compliant and non-compliant results. In the case of non-conformance, select one or more predefined deviations to precisely document the result.

You can flexibly combine the different assessment types – even within a single audit. This allows you to optimally adapt your checklists to your requirements and audit standards.

We are continuously developing cluetec Audit and regularly release updates to provide new functions and optimize existing features.

As a SaaS solution, these improvements are automatically available to all users – without any additional effort or separate installations.

The cluetec Audit Portal as a SaaS solution is always up to date and does not require any active updates on your part.

Our mobile app is available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store and, as usual, is updated directly through the stores. We recommend keeping the apps up to date.

New versions are also announced via the messaging function in the cluetec Audit Portal. Thanks to our zero-downtime policy, updates are generally implemented without downtime, ensuring you can use cluetec Audit seamlessly at all times.

We attach great importance to ensuring that cluetec Audit is available at all times without interruption.

In rare cases, however, major maintenance work may be required, resulting in planned downtime. We will notify you of such maintenance slots, including the expected duration, by email at least 30 days in advance.
